Seismograph / Seismograf (2019)

The installation work Seismograph, consists of several disposable kitchen-towel rolls embroidered with red cotton yarns. The meandering red lines follow the pre-embossed patterns on the paper surface, documenting the passage of time and the potentiality of choice captured by the process of embroidery.

Die Installation Seismograf, besteht aus mehreren, als Einwegprodukt hergestellten Zewa-Küchentüchern, die mit einem roten Baumwollgarn bestickt wurden. Die Stickereien, die sich an den vorgestanzten Mustern im Papier orientieren, dokumentieren die in das Objekt eingestickte Zeit und Individualität.
